Character/Rescue story:

Zahara was given away by her original owner, who is a travel nurse and had to relocate. Her new home did not treat her well; she was not fed well and was tired down all day and night. She ended up being malnourished and dumped at the local marketplace. She is the biggest love bug who lives to cuddle with you. She also has lots of energy and is perfect as an outdoors dog, has a good nose, runs fast and would love to go on hikes in the Pacific Northwest. Zahara gets along with dogs, cats & kids. Her leash skills are a work in progress.
